Overview
Prompt files in Logic+ are WAV format audio recordings used for pre-recorded messages within Logic+ flows. They are managed separately from standard Sharpen sound files and are only accessible within the Logic+ environment. Administrators with the appropriate permissions can upload and manage these files through the Logic+ Prompts page.
This article covers sound files used exclusively within Logic+. For information on sound files used elsewhere in the Sharpen platform, such as for Hold Music, Announcements, or Classic Logic, refer to the Sound Files article.
Accessing Logic+ Prompt Files
Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Logic+ and select Prompts to view and manage all uploaded WAV files.
File Requirements
All WAV files uploaded to Logic+ must meet the following specifications:
Requirement |
Value |
|---|---|
File Type |
WAV |
Audio Bitrate |
8 kbps |
Channels |
Mono |
Sample Rate |
8,000 Hz (8 kHz) |
Uploading a New Prompt File
Click the Create button in the top-right corner of the Prompts page.
Select your WAV file for upload by either dragging and dropping it into the designated area, or clicking inside the upload box to browse and select the file.
Enter a clear, descriptive file name that makes the recording easy to identify later.
Best Practice: Before your prompt library grows, establish a consistent naming convention for all sound files. Locating a specific file becomes significantly more difficult as the number of uploads increases.
