Overview
Converts MP3 or WAV files into the format Logic+ requires, WAV, 8000 Hz, Mono, 16-bit PCM, and repairs file names our platform will not accept.
Our platform only allows letters, digits, and underscores in a sound file name. The converter replaces anything else with underscores rather than refusing the file and shows you which characters it found and what the file will be saved as before you convert. Names that are already valid are left untouched. Converted files get a _converted suffix so originals are not overwritten.
It accepts MP3 and WAV only and inspects the actual file contents rather than trusting the extension, so a mislabeled file is caught here instead of failing on upload. Multiple files can be converted in one pass. Volume is never changed, so a quiet recording stays quiet.
Conversion happens entirely inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
