Overview
Duplicating a Logic+ flow allows you to create an identical copy of an existing flow, which can then be modified independently without affecting the original. This is useful when building a new flow that shares a similar structure to one that already exists. There are two methods available for duplicating a flow: using the Duplicate button directly in the Logic+ interface, or exporting and re-importing the flow as a JSON file.
Prerequisites
Before proceeding, ensure the following:
You have administrator access to Sharpen.
Logic+ is enabled on your account.
Method 1: Using the Duplicate Button
This is the quickest way to duplicate a Logic+ flow directly from the interface.
Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Logic+.
Locate the flow you want to duplicate and hover over it.
Click the Duplicate button.
The duplicated flow will appear in your Logic+ flow list, mirroring the original configuration and ready to be modified.
Method 2: Using JSON Export and Import
Use this method if you already have a previously downloaded JSON file of the flow, or if you need a portable copy of the flow for other purposes.
Step 1: Download the JSON (skip if you already have the file)
Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Logic+.
Locate the flow you want to duplicate, hover over it, and select it.
In the middle-left of the interface, click Tools and select Download JSON.
Step 2: Import the JSON as a New Flow
Return to the Logic+ main page at Admin > Configuration > Logic+.
Click Create in the top-right corner and select Import JSON.
Upload the downloaded JSON file to create the duplicate flow.
Step 3: Save and Publish
Click Save as New Draft to save the duplicated flow.
When the flow is ready for deployment, click Publish.
