Overview
The Send SMS panel sends a text message from within your Logic+ flow according to the settings you configure. It can be used at any point in a flow to deliver notifications, confirmations, or personalized messages to a recipient automatically.
Before You Begin
Consider using interaction variables in your message content to make each SMS specific to the interaction at runtime. This is especially useful for things like appointment confirmations, order updates, or alerts that include details gathered earlier in the flow.
See Available Predefined Variables for a full list of variables you can reference.
Important: The phone number used in the From Number field must be configured in Inbound Routes. If the number is invalid or not recognized, the flow will route through the Invalid Input exit path.
Compliance Notice: You are responsible for following all applicable laws and regulations governing SMS messaging. Non-compliance may result in your SMS messaging being blocked or disabled for the sending number.
Example Use Case
A Logic+ flow handles appointment scheduling. After confirming a booking, the flow uses a Send SMS panel to automatically text the customer a confirmation with the date, time, and location. The message body is built using interaction variables captured earlier in the flow, so each message is personalized without any manual effort.
