The sound files page allows Sharpen admins to view the entire list of sound files that are saved to a company account. Any call recording, auto attendant script recording (announcement), and music on hold file that has been uploaded can be accessed here. Only administrators have this permission and the ability to view company-wide files.
What can I do within the Sound Files page?
The Sound Files page shows all of the sound files company wide. For quick and easy access to a file, you can search it by name. The files will appear in rows and are categorized by File Name, Type, and Status.
How do I delete a Sound File?
As an Admin, you also have the ability to delete a sound file by hovering your mouse to the right of the file's row, under the section that says 'Delete'.
Where can I upload a Sound File?
There are two main places where you can upload a sound file:
- Admin > Configuration > Music on Hold
- Admin > Configuration > Auto Attendant > Announcement
How do I know the Sound File works?
The best way to know if a Sound File is working properly is by assigning it and testing it out. There are three possible statuses that occur once the sound file is uploaded:
- Converting - the sound file is being processed
- Deployed - the sound file is ready for use
- Failed - the sound file failed to upload
