Setting Up Bria for Android

 

Due to the varied nature of Android devices, please check supported devices at Counterpath’s website: http://www.counterpath.com/bria-android-edition

 

Counterpath States “Bria Android Edition may operate well on other non-supported devices”. In the event that Bria for Android does not work with your device, the Google Play store provides a 15 minute refund window.

 

1. After opening Bria select “SIP Making Calls”

2. Use the following settings from “Configuration > Extensions” in the app.sharpencx.com Portal:

  • Display as: Desired display name
  • Username: User "Username"
  • Password: User "Password"
  • Domain: User "Server Address"  
    • ‚Äč**(note: If address has a .01.b.sipvbx.com remove the .01.b)**   
    • example: us1.vbx76.01.b.sipvbx.com use the following us1.vbx76.sipvbx.com

3. Set VM Number as *97

4. Scroll down and select “Account Advanced”

5. Set Refresh Interval to ‘240’

6. Set Refresh Mobile Interval to ‘240’

 

You are now ready to use Bria for Android

 



Setting Up Bria for Apple IOS



1. Upon opening Bria press VoIP (SIP) Calling



2. Use the following settings from 'Configuration > Extensions' in the app.sharpencx.com Portal: 
  •     Display as: Desired display name
  •     Username: Use 'Username'
  •     Password: Use 'Password'
  •     Domain: Use 'Server Address'  
    • **(note: If address has a .01.b.sipvbx.com remove the .01.b)**   
    • example: us1.vbx76.01.b.sipvbx.com use the following us1.vbx76.sipvbx.com



3. Set voicemail number as *97



4. Scroll to the 'SIP Registration' section

5. Set the Wi-Fi Refresh Interval to 240

6. Set the Mobile Refresh Interval to 240



7. Click 'Enabled'

8. Go to Settings > Preferences

9. Make sure 'Run In Background' is ON to enable the device to receive calls even if Bria has not been opened.

10. If you would like Bria to work when not on WiFi, turn 'Use When Available', 'Allow VoIP Calls' on. If you would like to disable calls when not on WiFi, but still receive notifications, turn 'Allow VoIP Calls' OFF.

You are now ready to use Bria for iOS.
